Niklas Süle turned down Liverpool

Reports originating from Germany claim that Niklas Süle rejected the opportunity of a summer transfer to Liverpool.

The 21-year-old centre-back was wanted by Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp along with managers from a number of European clubs including AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Bayer Leverkusen, Roma and Napoli but none of them were enough to tempt him to leave Hoffenheim.

Süle says he rejected the advances to continue his development with Hoffenheim coach Julian Nagelsmann.
