James Milner was sent home from training today after complaining of feeling unwell and is now a doubt for tomorrow’s Europa League tie against Manchester United.
The 30-year-old reported to Melwood as normal but reported that he didn’t feel too good. He was given the once over by the club’s medical staff and sent home with medication after it was decided that he had been hit with a virus.
Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp hasn’t ruled him out of his plans just yet and will instead make a decision in the morning after the vice-captain has had a good kip.
Meanwhile, striker Daniel Sturridge is hoping to be recalled to the starting line-up after missing the last two games.
