Martin Atkinson to officiate Southampton v Liverpool

Martin Atkinson has been announced as the man in the middle for Liverpool’s Premier League fixture away to Southampton on Sunday.

The 46-year-old from Bradford, West Yorkshire will be supported by assistants Peter Kirkup and Stuart Burt. Kevin Friend is the 4th official.

Atkinson took charge of Liverpool’s 3-3 draw at Arsenal in December, Liverpool’s 3-0 away win at Stoke in November and Liverpool’s 0-0 draw at home to Manchester United in October.

So far this season he has issued 72 yellow cards and 4 red cards.
