Mario Balotelli: I never want to play for Liverpool again

Mario Balotelli

Loaned out Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli says he wants to stay at AC Milan and under no circumstances does he want to return to Anfield.

The 25-year-old has only scored three goals in 19 appearances during his season-long loan with Liverpool looking set to take a hit on the £16m they paid for him in August 2014. Milan though don’t appear keen to get a deal done or they are at least playing it very cool while the player himself is desperate to secure a permanent transfer.

Commenting on his situation, Balotelli said: “When it comes to my future I want to stay with Milan because I wasn’t happy at Liverpool and I don’t want to return there. And plus, Milan has the money.

“I’ve been doing well in my last two games, there are another six for me to prove myself.

“I feel in good shape physically at last and am relaxed.”

Reports over the weekend claimed that Monaco were showing an interest in the Italian.
