Mario Balotelli holds talks with Jose Mourinho

Reports originating from Italy claim that Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli had a meeting with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho earlier this week.

It is claimed that the duo held talks to discuss the player’s temperament with Mourinho apparently offering him advice on how to revive his career.

The meeting has been described as informal and there are no suggestions that Mourinho is considering trying to take him to Old Trafford.

Liverpool are desperate to get the Italian off the wage bill and while there has been some interest in him, nobody wants to offer the Reds hard cash.
