Manchester City’s Joe Hart linked with Liverpool

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has today been linked with a possible move to Anfield.

Reports originating from France of all places claim that incoming City boss Pep Guardiola wants to replace Hart (29) with Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who we also know is wanted by Jürgen Klopp. If Guardiola is able to land Ter Stegen in the summer, then the suggestion is that Klopp will look at signing Hart.

Despite recently signing a new long term contract, doubts remain over current Kop No. 1 Simon Mignolet, although there are no suggestions that Klopp would be looking to move him out straight away if another ‘keeper is recruited ahead of him.

KOPTALK sources claim that Klopp remains keen on Ter Stegen but that he also has a very strong interest in Timo Horn (22) who reportedly has a clause allowing him to leave Cologne for £7m if activated before the end of this month.
