Liverpool table £18million transfer bid – REPORTS

Reports originating from Italy claim that Liverpool have made an £18m offer for Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes.

Earlier in the month we reported that we had been linked with him but our sources were unable to confirm any interest in the 22-year-old at that time.

Up until yesterday we hadn’t really seen him mentioned with us again but if you believe today’s reports, Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp has now tabled an offer. Again, our sources are unable to confirm this so we would express a little caution with this chatter unless someone credible closer to home is able to back these latest claims up.

Meanwhile, KOPTALK sources are reporting that Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre is “absolutely still working on player recruitment” this summer. We have been told there could be further activity before the window slams shut but as of this morning, there had been no progress on that front.
