Liverpool scouts check out Julian Brandt

It has been reported that Liverpool scouts have been assigned to monitor Bayer Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt.

The 20-year-old winger is, if you believe the reports, ‘seriously under consideration’ with Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp closely monitoring his performances.

Capped 4 times by Germany, it is claimed that Brandt could be a target for Liverpool during the January transfer window.

The reports are speculative and as yet, no credible sources are reporting that he’s a target.

However, Brandt is certainly a player that we could imagine Klopp having an interest in so we wouldn’t completely dismiss the suggestion that we are monitoring him but talk of a move sounds a little premature at this time.
