Liverpool scout MLS starlet Alphonso Davies

Liverpool Football Club have assigned a scout to keep an eye on MLS teenage sensation Alphonso Davies.

The 15-year-old Vancouver Whitecaps forward is receiving a lot of attention from European clubs following his impressive rise to first team action.

Liverpool scout Andy O’Brien, who is usually deployed in the UK by the Reds, used to play for the Whitecaps and has a vast knowledge of MLS players, has been in attendance at several Whitecaps games recently and Davies is the obvious candidate as to who he’s casting an eye over.

Manchester United are also believed to be tracking the youngster.
