Liverpool are challenging Arsenal and Chelsea for the signature of Ezequiel Lavezzi, if you choose to believe today’s reports.
The 30-year-old winger is out of contract in the summer and having fallen out of favour at Paris Saint-Germain, he is said to be looking for a transfer.
Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are making serious attempts to try and land him but Chelsea have emerged as favourites following claims that his agent held advanced talks with them on Thursday. KopTalk sources think he may end up at Inter.
Liverpool were continually linked with Lavezzi last year but as usual nothing came of our interest.
Lavezzi’s team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic (34), another player linked heavily with us last year, is also available on a free in the summer.
