Liverpool make Julian Draxler approach

Liverpool have reportedly made an approach to Paris Saint-Germain regarding the availability of Julian Draxler.

Reports originating from France claim that Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp is stepping up his interest in the the 24-year-old German winger who only made the switch to PSG from Wolfsburg in January this year. Around the same time, Klopp offered Draxler the opportunity to come to Anfield but pulled out when it became clear that the Germany international favoured a move to France. Supporters may recall Draxler’s agent Roger Wittmann attending Liverpool’s 4-2 Champions League win over Hoffenheim back in August.

It is claimed that Liverpool have made tentative inquiries over a loan move with a view to a permanent deal despite recent reports stating that Draxler wants to stay with PSG.

Arsenal also continue to be linked with the player.
