Liverpool ‘fear’ Bayern Munich approach for Klopp

Klopp Ancelotti

Newspaper reports today claim that Liverpool ‘fear’ an approach from Bayern Munich for their manager Jürgen Klopp.

It is claimed that the German giants are considering parting ways with Carlo Ancelotti after a poor start which includes losing to European minnows Rostov in the Champions League last week. The reports go on to say that Klopp is the obvious man to replace him yada yada yada.

Bayern were also linked with the Liverpool manager back in September but this latest round of speculation comes following Bayern’s AGM a couple of days back and the claims originate from a completely different media outlet; neither of which are the most credible to be perfectly honest.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the Bayern chairman, insists that Ancelotti has the club’s “full support” despite some early doubts about his tenure.

Liverpool will not, of course, entertain any approaches from Bayern or anyone else should anyone ever come forward. Another positive is that Klopp is clearly one of few people in the modern game that we can actually trust.

We’re certainly not concerned by this speculation and neither should you be.
