Liverpool could be handed Balotelli cash boost

Liverpool officials are hoping that Mario Balotelli agrees a move to the Chinese Super League.

The 25-year-old isn’t wanted back at Anfield once his loan with AC Milan concludes.

His agent Mino Raiola is believed to have received offers from Italy and China and the riches of the Far East appear to be more favoured.

If he makes the switch to China, Liverpool expect to get back the £15m they paid out for him and will also avoid having to pay off some of his contract.
