Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp registers interest in Sandro Tonali

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp is tracking the progress of Brescia youngster Sandro Tonali.

The 18-year-old midfielder is attracting interest as a result of his performances in Serie B, the second-highest division in the Italian football league system. Although he is yet to play in the top flight of Italian football, Tonali is seen as a future Italian star and he has already been likened to Andrea Pirlo and also Daniele De Rossi.

Roma director of football Monchi and Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp have both made approaches about Tonali’s availability and this has been confirmed by Brescia President Massimo Cellino.

We believe that Liverpool’s enquiry was made towards the end of last year.
