Liverpool willing to offer £5million for defender

Liverpool are willing to offer Leicester City around £5million for their left back Ben Chilwell but fear that the Premier League champions will refuse to do business.

It is believed that the 19-year-old, who has made 3 appearances for Leicester this season, has indirectly indicated an interest in making the move to Anfield should such an opportunity present itself.

Chilwell, who has represented England at Under 18, Under 19 and Under 20 levels, was first brought to Liverpool’s attention during a 3 month loan spell with Huddersfield Town earlier this season.

Arsenal are also said to be tracking him.
