Klopp keen on Donyell Malen – REPORTS

Donyell Malen

Liverpool are again being linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Donyell Malen. Fresh reports originating from Spain today, claim that the Reds are again sniffing around the 24-year-old forward with a view to signing him should Mo Salah leave for Saudi Arabia.

Under contract until 2026, chatter has suggested for some time that the Reds would need to stump up a bid in excess of £50million for the Netherlands international who is in decent form this term. He has been linked with us on-off for a while, but nobody with any real credibility is putting forward the idea that we could step in with a bid next year.

Malen is represented by Rafaela Pimenta who ‘inherited’ the likes of Erling Haaland and Paul Pogba when super agent Mino Raiola died last year. Speaking several months ago when a number of Italian clubs were linked with Malen, she said: “They like him in Italy, but he is appreciated by Borussia, he plays as a starter, they are not thinking about a farewell.”

Liverpool are thinking about life after Salah with the Egyptian King tipped to leave Anfield next year. As a result, a number of players are being linked with us, but we don’t expect to see any credible suggestions appear until later this month.

There’s a decent article here about Malen that may interest you.
