Ilkay Gundogan linked with Liverpool again

Liverpool have again been linked with a possible move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder İlkay Gündoğan.

The 25-year-old, who Liverpool have previously tried to sign, looks set to leave Dortmund after failing to agree a new contract with the Bundesliga outfit. He did sign a 2-year extension last year but that’s up next year and it sounds like he’s ready to consider a move elsewhere.

Dortmund can’t allow his contract to run low so he could become available in the summer and reports originating in Germany suggest that Liverpool remain amongst a number of clubs interested in signing him.
