Huddersfield Town want Danny Ward

Huddersfield Town want to take Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward on a season-long loan, claim reports.

Despite breaking into the Liverpool first team recently it is claimed that Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp is considering helping out Town boss David Wagner due to their friendship and because such a loan would also assist the 22-year-old’s development.

Such a move, if it transpired, may come as a surprise to supporters who expect Ward to figure more under Klopp next season. The manager has also previously criticised how many young players were loaned out prior to his arrival at Anfield.
