Daniel Sturridge has been ruled out of Liverpool’s League Cup semi final tie against Stoke City tomorrow night.
Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp has confirmed that the 26-year-old will not be involved due to his ongoing injury problems.
“When he’s had a row of sessions, I will pick him. He’s not available,” said Klopp, who was speaking at this afternoon’s pre-match press conference.
Commenting on Jordan Henderson’s injury status, Klopp added: “We have to wait. What’s happened with the tendon is painful.
“There is blood around the heel. We can’t rush it.”
