Brendan Rodgers says he hopes to be back in employment this summer.
The former Liverpool manager has been out of work since he was sacked by the Reds in October last year but is now hoping to return to the game following a spell of football punditry.
Commenting on his future, Rodgers said: “Hopefully in the summer, I can get back in again.
“I am open to travelling. I have had a couple of offers to go abroad but I wanted to wait.”
On his time at Liverpool, he added: “I had a really enjoyable time at Liverpool but wanted to take a step back and reflect.
“The first couple of seasons went well and we were building towards a title challenge and we fell just short.
“The last six months were difficult and the owners wanted to make a change.”
