Borussia Dortmund to rival Reds for Götze?

Newspaper reports claim that Borussia Dortmund have held ‘secret talks’ with Mario Götze’s representatives about a possible summer transfer.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder is on Jürgen Klopp’s wanted list with the Reds’ boss keen on the idea of bringing him to Anfield if a realistic deal can be negotiated.

However, reports originating from Germany claim that Dortmund would like to be reunited with Götze who looks set to be made available at the end of the season.

Götze’s valuation has reportedly dropped from £43million, following his World Cup final winning goal in 2014, to £27million due to a lack of form and fitness.
