This sure is rich coming from someone who turned a blind eye to Roy's History. What happened to "Real supporters always support the manager"? I'm not going to bother saying anymore, because I've wasted enough time on you already.

Never really understood why fans love dalglish so much given that our demise and the rise of the mancs was caused by him walking out.

yes he had an ageing squad, but it was souness who ripped that squad apart and wanted to stamp his own ideas down

You would have preferred Sir Bob gave the reigns to Keegan then? You suppose that Fergie's ability to manage his club's football team after, and their continued support for him during, those bleak 7 years before he did anything interesting was Dalglish's fault? Why not just blame it on Rafa, ffs? Everyone else does.

Kenny walked because he knew he'd lost it. Takes a rare man to be able to do that. He came back to managing because he felt his time away from the game was enough to get his head back on straight; and what did he do? Win the EPL with a side that had been in the Championship when he joined them. That LFC managers and owners after him conspired to leave us in the second tier of the EPL may not be entirely attributed to Dalglish. I really do find it amazing how many people on this forum think one guy is responsible for all our ills when that guy isn't part of the system. A team may be mismanaged, yes, but a team may also be rebuilt. No one has done any rebuilding in the last 20 years; that is not Dalglish's fault, and to lay such blame at the feet of a man emotionally ruined by a stadium disaster is shameful.

Then why did it take him two years to quit if he was so messed up after hillsborough? The fact is that he left us in the [oops] just before the prem league started and utd wouldn't have become the biggest club in the world if he had stayed cos the muppet souness took over. I hope he does well but I can't help thinking that he's not been involved at this level for a decade and there are better options out there. Also, he's not going to have a say in who we buy this month that's going to be down to comolli who has not got a clue so god help us.

I think Kenny has taken on more than he can handle as the game has
changed so much such as player power and most of all we are not even in the top six in term's of spending power or pulling power to
add the type of players we need .
The type of players we need are Suarez,Hazzard,Santon,Young,Cahill,
but would any of these come to liverpool when we dont have champions league football or the money to pay them the £150,000 a week.
Good luck Kenny.
