He needs to get his head down and start concentrating on the pitch because he was at fault for giving away 2 goals last game. Although for me, he's never been a right-back and should be on the wings instead.

It would be interesting if players were expected to live like monks, dedicating their lives solely to the religion of football. But I'm not convinced it's the way to go somehow.

Personally, I think if Glen wants to respond to Merson's comments, he should. Hopefully he'll pick his game up on the pitch as well.
