Whilst I was hardly in tears tonight listening to the match, mainly because we're becoming so hardened to these dreadful results now, I would far rather have seen our team absolutely tonking Blackburn, and to carry on bursting every team in every remaining match of the season.
But do you honestly think we're going to do that with Roy as our manager? We all want the same thing, Growler, and that is a football team that plays good footie, good enough to stuff bad teams out of sight, and consistent enough to trouble the better clubs out there. It's not important who the manager is if he's bringing in the results; if Roy had us playing the kind of football you describe there, there would be no calls for his head and we would be at worst 6th on the log. But we're not up there, and our football is wretched. How long can we continue to say, "Roy you're doing a great job," when he clearly isn't?
