It doesnt matter who manages this team, they simply are not good enough. Lets deal in facts and leave the emotion of being a liverpool fan out of the discussion. We won the FA cup in 2006 only Gerrard and Carragher and Reina were on that team (only stevie and jamie won a Champions League medal in 2005). The rest of this squad have won absolutely nothing, they had one great year in the premiership in 2007 and finished 2nd (Torres and Gerrard at their absolute prime, which we will not see again) 2005-9pts behind, 2006-21pts behind, 2007-11pts behing, 2009-23pts behind. 2009/10 FA CUP third rd loss to reading, 2008/09 FA Cup fifth rd loss to reading, 2007/08 third rd loss to Arsenal, 2005/06 FA Cup third rd loss to burnley.

Players to not wish to play for or under RH anymore.

these are the same players that beat chelsea, but since that win, things have changed, .WHY, only RH knows.

You say the team is not good enough. Not good enough for what? Not good enough to win the league? Yes I agree with you, and so would almost every fan. Not good enough to get in the top 4? Maybe, but that's more debatable.

But what nobody with a brain should be able to argue with, is that the team we have is good enough to beat sides like Wolves at home. The team and squad we have is more than good enough.

So if we have a good enough team to beat sides like that, and for the umpteenth time this season we have lost and been outplayed by a side that is worse than us, then you can't say "we are not good enough". The blame lies fairly and squarely with the manager.
Your wrong, the manager must take part of the blame but so do the players for continuing to underperform, a manager can only prepare them right until they go out on the pitch, then it is soley up to them. Blaming a manager is a complete kopp out, look at tonite how can you blame Hodgson if say Glenn Johnson allows Jarvis to get the better of him in one on one confrontations, how can any player allow there opponent to beat them, surely there has to be some personal pride and tonite there was absolutely nothing and it has f*ck all to do with Hodgson, players are shi*houses with no personal pride, seen perfectly tonite...

I can certainly agree that no one in the squad, from the manager down, is in a good place right now. But really - the way Roy put those players out on the pitch last night was appalling. Gerrard has failed as a CM this season. Meireles has failed in every position OTHER than CM this season. Johnson is not a defender. Torres and N'Gog don't work well together. Soto is only good against an aerial assault and in games where we have many corners (though in truth Roy couldn't start anyone else). But the fact that he made every one of these mistakes once again shows he's stubborn to a fault, still has no plan 'B', and in the light of such irrefutable stupidity I would be surprised of the team is willing to play for him.

You can't win like this. Yes, Roy doesn't kick the ball, nor does he miss the tackles. But morale, tactics, selection. Those are the things he does have control over, but he's just getting worse and worse rather than leading us from strength to strength.

a good manager can get more out of this team youve only to look at owen coyle that has gone to bolton and turned them round harry redknapp did the same at spurs. we have a team full of international footballers, reina carra skyrtel agger gerrard torres and kuyt were all part of the team that came 2nd in the league so there not that bad, theres no one out there that no what there supposed to be doing and that is down to the manager and his coaching staff.

Well he had actually Kelly and Wilson to choose from, in the CB position.

Any of those should do better than Skittles anyway!
