Was funny watching him bring Cups of tea out to the waiting reporters, typical of this toxic monster playing his mind games rite until the end by trying to get the reporters on his side, done the same sort of thing with his donation to the Hillsborough fund to win fan's backing against Hicks and Gillett. Do you know what the funniest and saddest thing about all this, it's the fact that some stupid Liverpool fans are actualy taken in by this tyrant's spin.

If you can't articulate an argument against Rafa without resorting to that kind of overblown garbage, it suggests you really don't have an argument. Just lots of bile.

Rafa wasn't perfect, hell no, but he was a lot better than Roy and doesn't compare badly with a lot of the other managers who might be available at the moment for that matter.

Sorry mate. I respect your thoughts about local fans etc, but I think you're going way too far with your venom against Rafa.

I created a thread the other day about respecting all our managers. I request all of us to show some civility and class as Liverpool fans. Yes, a bit of banter every now and then is great, but some of the posts against both Rafa and Roy seem to go beyond that.

Football's about opinion, so we're all gonna have differing views and different favourites. But whether we prefer Roy or Rafa or someone else, none of us really know these guys personally. So I see no justification for such hatred to either of them.

If you still disagree, can you at least concede that there are a large number of your LFC fans who like Rafa, and therefore at least repect your fellow fans.

For 3 years I loved Rafa. Thought he was going to bring the glory days back. Then something happened, I don't even know what it was. All I know is he lost the plot. Dodgy team selections, strange signings and absurd rants. It seemed like his ego was spoiling what should have been a return to the very top.

He was very good, then became very bad.

Respect is something which needs to be earned this monster has'nt with the way he carried on, what he has done with Iner Milan he done with Liverpool and Valencia before us, he is premeditated and does everything for a reason. The man caused trouble with our owners, Parry, Purslow, Pako, O,Neill, Fat Sam, Ferguson and Steve Bruce, caused trouble with Moyes and caused unrest in the City when he called Everton a little Club he also got shut of Club stalwarts like Stevie Heighway and Hugh McCaulay, he is just a dark menacing person who clashes with anyone in authority and is stubborn and pigheaded who blames everyone but himself. Please dont tell me I am out of line for venting my loathing for this feller as if it was up to me I would confiscate his passport so he could'nt darken our shores again, he has a cheek to even own a home near Liverpool after the damage he done towards the end. Good Riddance to bad rubbish is what I say and for what it's worth more people dislike this feller like me than like him like a few of the sheep on here.

its a cynical view that raffas donation was done for effect! i think the families deserve respect! dont you think they would have seen through it if raffas intentions where in bad taste?and he gave the money after he was sacked.
