Out of that lot I'd only sign Jarvis and Scott Dann is no better than we've got.

The others are to old and are playing for clubs in the bottom four for a reason.

we could always sign some quality players instead.

parker = over priced
hangleland = too old (quality defender though)
dann = would personally like to see us go for cahill or shawcross first
n'zogbia = talented player but not sure if he has the right attitude and is he consistent enough? would give us another option but potentially just another ryan babel
jarvis = we should be aiming higher

i'm not sure we need 2 CB's... infact i think we could get by til the summer without signing one CB. we need quality attacking options and a promising full back imo. a CM also

n'zogbia has done more in a game (last season vs us ) then babel has done for us in 3yrs. babel isnt half the player

at wigan n'zogbia is probably the first one on the team sheet, if babel was at wigan he would be the same. so you could argue he hasn't had a fair crack of the whip. the more first team football you get the more chances you are going to have of turning out an impressive performance. in just one game lol you must be joking. just look at some of the goals babel has scored for us. he is a nob but he has talent

imo opinion we shouldn't be looking at several targets. just one or 2 quality players will do then another 2 in the summer. quality is what matters, wether we can get quality signings in january is a big ask. just don't wanna see us bring players in just for the sake of it. we need quality players who will improve the squad and become first team regulars.

i'd splash it on ashley young this transfer window. can't see it happening though. then in the summer bring cahill in. bring in a striker like lukaku, carroll or maybe even smaller forward to partner torres like luiz suarez or honda. then id look at bringing in coentrao at left back (can also operate out wide in midfield) and then look at a quality central midfield player defour / banega / cattermole

Heard on radio earlier that Roy may want to sign sturridge? not doing anything at Chelsea, don't no how he would fair here ? anyone got thoughts on him ?

Now ladies and gents I believe its vital that liverpool buy someone who can keep the likes of reina and torres even if we do not finish in fourth place if we buy a world class star torres and reina might stay.NOW YOUNG IS NOT WORLD CLASS IF HE WAS HE WOULD BE IN THE ENGLAND TEAM. i totally agree with the mantra but at 31/32 is forlan going to worth £15m+?
