The lad has a good pace on him, maybe with a few tricks he could become a useful wide player, god we miss a smart coach frown

Right now he's a championship player at best, should be loaned out.

I don't see a star either. Not even a decent backup yet. He'll be a makeweight in a deal at some stage.

Yes, thats a brilliant idea, keep him out wide out of position for a few seasons until he dries out.

I would agree with that myself. Owen, Rush, Fowler, Gerrard all came straight into the first team from an early age and stayed there.

Nothing amazing. Young players are treated quite harshly at big clubs as if they dont shine right away then they do not get the opportuinity. Even then its never a sure thing they will remain in the team as the ammount of overpaid foreigners is shocking.

I'd rather see this kid on the bench or pitch ahead of Ryan Babel. I know this place is full of get rid of Babel and co but this fellas attitude makes me sick.

I would rather see him ont the pitch instead of Babel too.! unfortunately that means jack [oops] at the moment.

I`m with Ceb on this that if your good enough you will make it through early, if your the age of Spearing then it`s time to accept it aint going to happen. At present I would have to say that Nathan, Spearing, Darby, Pacheco, Shelvey are at best Championship quality, give them a years experience and bring them back if they perform.
