This squad is better than the one from 04/05 with the exclusion of 10 or so players

To borrow a Bluenose Gray term, "It's six of one....etc"
Rafa won a Champions League, final of Carling Cup, got us 5th and built on what was a weak team.
Roy has us 7 points off top 4 while Rafa at this stage had us 6 points off top 4. Both had lost to Man United and Everton away at this point. Rafa beat Arses while Roy beat Chelsea. You could argue both sides but it's whats being done with the teams you get. Rafa turned his squad into a winning squad. Can and is Roy doing same is the question? I have doubted but I do feel and see a difference in our overall play which is pleasing and demonstarates Roy is doing a better job. To me it's our away form which is disgraceful and Roys team historically have been cr*p away.
