Anyone else think the lad is doing a bit more these past few weeks and starting to find his feet. Lovely goal last night, got the winner at Bolton, looked dangerous at Spurs and links well with Torres. Just another who seems to be stepping things up a bit.

Mentioned this last night,Maxi seems to be doing better under Roy than he did with Rafa,probably just settled now with some PL expierence under his belt.

Maxi was playing well last season, so am not buying into it that hes doing better under roy!! He was always going to need a settling in period and the only thing missing last season in his game was a few more goals. very intelligent player, i rate him

He seems to be more involved in games these days, scored a couple of good goals recently so yeah, hope he keeps it up.

na. just trying to keep an overview. i have to add, i cheered every goal last night, and funny enough, i always enjoy roys reaction to our goals. but poor performances have outweighed the good so far, and until the balance shifts, ill be wary of his abilities.

Roy got it spot on against the mighty Blackpool,Northampton, Everton, Man City, Man Ure, Stoke, Sunderland....agree with Flames been a lot more bad than good performances. However, Roy deserves more backing from fans but it's difficult to support after some of the displays this season. His away form as a manager is very suspect so lets see if he can change that?!
Maxi been good this season.
