Let's ground share with Everton!! It's not a bad thing to ground share. We could play on the lush green grass while they could play out on the car park with jumpers for goal posts in the shadow of the new Mighty KOP.....! because that's where they have always been and where they will stay... In Our Shadow!!!

look guys the world has changed for sure, but football was a working class game, but it seems not many want to be associated with that tag now, and in some ways that's why football started to die from what we once knew it to be, i mean whether you take today's financial success or go back to the seventies all footballers from all eras were very well paid but it is the fault of modern day acceptance of fans that the players and the hierarchy are allowed to rake in money that is squandered ,in reality when most of it could be invested back into our lower division clubs and then up the ladder to premier sides, now i know thou st shall cry! naive or what but i know sooner or later it will and must revert to what it once was or die, the proof of it is here because we are discussing the prices right now. if it changes back then we may get players who fight for the shirt once again.

To be really honest I dont really understand how supporters of ours who live outside of the City, dont go to the match and dont have to live with Evertonians would get so worked up or be bothered about sharing a stadium. The point I am making is they dont have to worry about having to pay obscene amounts to watch the game so what difference does it make to them where the team plays, they dont even have to deal with Evertonian's it's only the fans who go the match and live alongside the blues who it will really effect.

Reclaim wot obscene amounts do you pay?? do you have to pay the neck end of £100 for tickets most weeks? Do you have to put £60-£70 of fuel in your car to get to the matches? Some games do you have to fork out money for Travel lodge on midweek matches then there's the money lost on taking half a shfit off to get too matches? Then there's the european trips!!! do I need too carry on? So don't preach to me about obscedne amounts of money that you pay!! It's our club just as much as it is yours! next time sort your fact's before disrespecting us travelling suporters!

When you chose to support Liverpool Football Club you have to accept paying travel expenses and Hotel prices, thats why it's not really practical to choose to support a Club from an area where you dont live, It's like if i suddenly decided to support Brighton and Hove Albion or Carlisle United. I think it's totaly unfair to charge local fans from the City such an amount when the City is already one on the poorest in the Country with high unemployment and low paid jobs. I have alot or respect for adopted Liverpool fans from outside the City and realise they pay alot of money to attend games not to mention travel great distances, but like I said it is there choice to do so.

id rather pay more for a ticket in the short term to pay off redevelopment or a new stadium than pay for a ticket knowing we share a stadium with Everton. This isn't just a decision for the fans at this current time, its a decision that will have effect on our kids, grand kids and there kids.

Do we pay for it ourselves in the short term with higher prices and give our future generations an identity we've all had the joy to have

or

do we take away our unique identity and share a stadium with everton, and give them the problems inter an ac milan are having at the moment where both clubs are looking to have there own stadium and own identity

when you share any investment in life be it a mortgage with your wife you have to consider the basics. can we afford it?

fundamentally Everton cannot, they are stuck with poor matchday return even when full. Virtually no corporate facilities and like us the value of the land in re-sale is minimal. Arsenal were able to sell as flats and pretty much pay for half the stadium.

The long term solution for both clubs would be to build the football quarter. Both sitting on either side of Stanley park with world class footbal support facilities on the park. This would not only supply both clubs with fantastic stadiums but the whole area would be massively re-generated. Problem is the local council would have to contribute, this will never happen. Infact the reason neither club can progress with their stadiums is because Liverpool council insist in the planning applications on the clubs paying for the Anfield/Everton areas to be regenerated. Seriously go and read it, demands from commercial support(think Liverpool one type) to rail links into central station. costs are more than a 3rd of actual build.

neither club should pay for regeneration around everton and anfield areas when you think how much money the clubs have made the city over the years with travelling home supporters and away ones aswell.
