i have to agreed with hollister. Adebayor at liverpool football club can only be great imagine torres and adebayor on the same team if both players play to the full potential we can score 40 goals a season between those two. Whatever you think about his attitude this guy is a goalscorer LUCAS has fanstatic attitude always works hard but i rather have quality then good attitude boys

Problem is you do not ever get full potential from these guys. We already have a guy full of ability but no heart for the fight in Babel. Again i stress this is a pointless thread just from the money angle alone.

I would take adebayor on loan till summer but agree would be better up front with torres than carlton cole. I honestly think what torres needs is competition for the clubs top scorer this would make him make more of an effort.

I will be the first to say Adebayour would be a good signing to pair along side Torres, they would make a fantastic pair. But because of his attitude he may feel he needs a high pay roll like someone pointed out he is 100K+ earner at City which he obviously does not deserve.But if you want a player than will not pull his weight up unless his wages high will just be a waste. If we are looking for a good striker with a good attitude it has to be Darren Bent because face it in the condition we are in right now it is only players like him we can attract, let Adebayour be a result of racist taunts in Italy because the fans are horrible over there

yer adebayors attitude makes him a no go, we should bring in a winger and a striker and maybe a new centre back

adebayor would add quality to the team no doubt about it. but the reports are a loan deal. could be a good temporary acquisition but there aren't many clubs out there who would pay his £120k a week wages and rightly so. he was only lured to city a couple of seasons ago cos it was such a big money deal. but anyway, why would city want to aid one of their rivals? i don't doubt the fact maybe he wants out but really can't see him going out on loan to any other premiership club.

IMO Adebayor for 15 mln would be better signing than Carlton Cole for 8,5-10 mln.Why? Because he is better player. Of course he cannot be the best earner in Liverpool - Gerrard, Torres and Reina should get more than him - but he would be an answer to the lack of good second striker...but like I said:
- we should not pay for him more than 15 mln
- he should earn around 80.000 a week

Adebayor would be a cracking signing. His attitude problems were a while ago and while he hasn't been getting a game he will be keen to move. If the Kop loves him, he will respect the club. Remember Anelka? His problems when he came to us ... everybody said he's a risk. The club was worried and look at him now. Barely a problem (only the world cup issue which apparently he didn't do much anyways)
