If we could sign 2 worldbeating wingers (LW and RW), who can play both ways then I think we actually can do for now without replacing Konchesky and Johnson.

Left alone both those players are far too bad at defending against real attacking, pacy threats such as Lennon and Bale.

You might be right there, but I think we have some more options left to try out at LB before making any new signings; Fabio, Kelly, Wilson, Darby.

If we had unlimited funds it would be a totally different thing, but what we really need now prio 1 is 2 wingers.

Johnno, Carra and Lucas were all around him trying to keep it up, but yet all 3 of 'em got skinned and then poor Skrtel managed to get the ball into our own net!

For sure pace would have helped!

TBH I think not he either has the right pace in him. Good with the ball though, but can't seem to shake off his opponent through pace 1 to 1.

What he does fairly good is protect the ball and throw in some decent crosses.
