Ok, we tried six so far this season that I can think of, including four CBs, two of whom are right-footed!! Who else is there? Is Mavinga any good? Is he any worse at LB than the others? Who else plays LB for the ressies?
still thinking salcido would have been a better option to konchesky. but saying that i think he made our 8th home grown player in the squad.
don't really think figueroa is the answer seen him play a few times this season and thought he was poor defensively. seems to be living off the back of that wonder goal he scored for them last season. saying that though he does play for a pretty poor side.
be interesting to see what happens in january and the summer. instead of signing make-weights and squad players would love to just see us fork out the cash for some quality players. we could do with a winger, a left back, a centre mid and forward. with record breaking profits (as chritian purslow calls it) and 2 seasons surely £60m on four quality players over 2 seasons is feasible?
