I can only hope Johnson can focus on his defending today! i think he will need to against bale, i would like to see Johnson further forward in some of our games to see how he does,i might wish he had been played further forward even more so after today because i am not convinced Johnson can do the job today! Here's hoping I'm wrong.

He has the speed and the athleticism to match bale so lets hope he does his job. A goal from johno would be nice too

I fear Bale may well turn Glen into a brown doughnut. He'll be turning that fast he'll disappear up his own backside.

Other then the result I think he did well against him

Yeah he is but after all the slack he has been getting he done well where others have been torn apart. Just a pity are other full back couldn't

johnson done well today, its good to have him back, he gives us a great outlet on the right,

we defended well today and Glen got the help he needs, Bale had a quiet game which was good but unfortunately that realeased Modric and Lennon who ripped Knochesky to bits all game.

bale is the perfect example on how quickly things can change in football. a year ago everyone was talking about how spurs couldn't win a single game with him in the team and a year later he's regarded as one of the best players in europe.

Keeping things real here, Johnson did get done when Bale took him on but his chances were limited due to the cover around him, left one on one there is only ever going to be one result.! Left back is a serious problem for us and we need some quality to join in the window.
