I'm a big fan of Dave Maddocks stuff in the mirror but I'm wondering what response he will make to Pepe's statement? Maddock went out on a limb a bit this morning with that article. I bet he won't have the balls to out his source,who must have known a) the story was BS, or b) didn't know enough to realise Pepe would deny it straight away! Either way I bet Maddock is a bit annoyed tonight but if you're going to write inflammatory stuff you have to reap the consequences. Still someone I respect as having good knowledge on LFC, but I bet he's tarnished his reputation with some LFC fans and officials today. Think some journo's need to remember that Hicks and Gillet have actually gone and that a new broom is sweeping Anfield, there is no need to make up stuff anymore just for the sake of it.
