Well your all fckin wrong, kuyt played behind torres in the 1st half and was then switched in the 2nd half to right mid to help Kelly and raul moved infield to make it a flat 5 instead of 4-4-1-1
Just goes to show how much he goves us when he's in the team. First to admit he doesn't have the flair or that much skill be he provides turnovers in the middle of the park that give us the opportunity to score. He plays much better behind Torres and I think it's a great partnership. Credit to Dirk and always thought a lot of him.
the thing about Dirk is you know you will always get 100 percent effort. How many other players can you say that about? I thought he did some good things but was still finding his feet after 6 weeks out. Some of you bagging him, I would remnind you that he is one of the few players in our squad to play in a world cup final.

Grest performance by every single one of our players against chelsea. Dirk was super as well, he must remain with torres to help him out up front for now, on the wing he isnt that effective.
Kuyt is only good on the wing as a 2nd defender to the RB. I can see why Rafa played Kuyt and Johnson together. But, as an out and out attacking winger, he really isn't that good and I am sure he doesn't want to be there either. I have said many times before he is best used in the 'Fowler role' in the penalty box.
As others have said his first touch is normally that bad that it`s pointless playing him out wide, got no pace anyway. If he is to play then it has to be close to Torres to annoy the you know what out of the defenders and get Torres in, also with limited chances to touch the ball he might actually score a few.
