I've read this thread carefully, I'm not gonna lie my own opinion is high of Rafa and rock bottom of Roy but I thought I'd try and read all the comments as fairly as possible. But emp and reclaim you are both just saying wild things without backing it up with anything.

You have no back up to anything you say. Hodgson is clearly out of his depth, come to anfield, I'll let you sit next to me and I'll point out the man rubbing his face not making any substitutions and looking like he doesn't have a clue. No matter what you say, Rafa has success with us and one bad season whilst never getting full backing. I will consider it a failure to give Roy our transfer kitty, cause he has had the 10 game pl games he said he wanted to be judged on and he has been [oops] poor.
Where on earth are you getting this one bad season from??? the man stayed in contention for the league once after xmas in 6 seasons, nearly all of them we were out of contention in October, September and start of December. The thing your missing is the man spent nearly 170 million pound on bringing players into the Club and to have that as a return in six seasons is a disgrace in anyones book. Lets talk about Roy Hodgson shall we, listen the man might not be good enough, he probably could be out of his depth but we will never see unless we give him the chance to prove he's not good enough for the Job, you have to judge him the same way as Houllier and Benitez which means giving him similar time and similar money, even you will agree thats the only fair way to judge a manager. What you have to remember also was United fans were against Ferguson saying exactly the same things as fans on here are saying about Roy right up untl the third round of the F.A.Cup when they played away at Forest and a certain Mark Robbins scored a last minute winner and the rest they say is History, thats the point I am making, you need to be fair and give Roy time to get it wrong before you condemn him.
