Lost only 2 games all year, had the best goal difference in the league, anfield was a fortress, and the closest we've come to winning in about 2 decades and you say that's not even a decent campaign. Plus we were playing in teh champions league and had hard games to play in europe, not like the europa that Roy has.
I'd kill for a season like that right now. Complete Rubbish...

The main reason Benitez got the sack/left whatever because of his non footballing issues , one his washing of the clubs dirty linen in public , his toxic style that the club didn't need the alienation of star players IE alonso, that goes with the millions spent and wasted on the aquilani's dossena's keane's of this world , plus the massive wages given to crabs like degen,voronin and the deal agreed by benitez 70 grand a week jovanovic and the issue of he might leave he might stay juventus saying he would like the england job after mc claren the list goes on , he went on a rant about hodgson blameing everyone except himself well just what benitez done time and time again and the supporters have fallen for this c0n-man , ok hodgson might not be the answer and could go or he could turn it around time will tell but that doesn't take away the blinkerness of the support of liverpool .

I dont rave over Rafa but knowone can dispute the fact that he had success with us and give us some very good memorys. If you disagree then lets be honest your thick as pigsh*t, doesn't take a genius to work out. His name was chanted in and around Anfield because he was a success and fans liked him, he just didn't win the league and we all wanted that.
Its not about Hodgson against Rafa, there in a different league end of, Roy can only dream of Rafa's CV.
I dont like Roys idea's and the way he sets the team out, i also had faults with Rafa tho, but with all his faults we won things aswell.

I've read this thread carefully, I'm not gonna lie my own opinion is high of Rafa and rock bottom of Roy but I thought I'd try and read all the comments as fairly as possible. But emp and reclaim you are both just saying wild things without backing it up with anything.

"why is rafa proud of 2nd place"-why is hodgson proud of 7th place?
You have no back up to anything you say. Hodgson is clearly out of his depth, come to anfield, I'll let you sit next to me and I'll point out the man rubbing his face not making any substitutions and looking like he doesn't have a clue. No matter what you say, Rafa has success with us and one bad season whilst never getting full backing. I will consider it a failure to give Roy our transfer kitty, cause he has had the 10 game pl games he said he wanted to be judged on and he has been [oops] poor.

GOOD MAN!, He can sit next to me as well. In between the german lad and the fellas from Carlisle who turn up every game. Regardless of where they are from to man all agree that we are not progressing in anyway under Roy. However,collectively we are uncomfortable with the though of asking for his head as this is not the Liverpool way. That time is getting closer though
