Unfortunately for roy he has come to the club on the back of one of it's worse mistakes in it's history. Selling to the wrong people apart, (we still may have done again, we don't know) The departure of one of the top managers in the world from Liverpool to the champions of Europe and worse, pay him to go. Roy will never nor ever has been in the same class or even league as Rafa which is why he'll always struggle here. The new owners have no choice but to try and replace the class we once had Ive been saying this all along

no it seems now any new manager we get has only 30days,30 days to install his own ideas into the club ,to transform the depression that was left by the previous regime . oh and he has to be brilliant talking to the media ,that now is a priority with lfc fans. he must throw in a few I did it for the fans I love the fans and by otherwise aloof and bitter sounding. also he must get talent like hazard,suarez in even if he has no money to do so. easy job Or we could get a manager that will make the most of a more then useful crop of players,one that will not blame everything around him when 35 years of dross gets exposed for what it really is.Remember who employed him and what their motives were,it certainly was not footballing reasons.

For me there are only 2 managers worthy of the Liverpool job. 1 is sitting in the club as Ambassador already and waiting for someone to call him. Hoping and wishing that the phone call arrives and he gets the nod. And the other is managing Turkey right now.
The might of Liverpool will rise again.

Hey Dingo, Mourinho is not the guy for us because he is a manager who likes to spend lots of cash to get what he wants. So he would fit in a chlski, man citeh, even man ure and Real. however when it comes to working with players and a tighter budget, i have yet to see him stick it out and make it.
our way was always make players into worldbeaters and under the new owners, it doesn't look like it has changed.
if they gave us 2 quality wingers, and 2 quality strikers in jan, plus a worthy manager i would be a very happy liverpool fan.
The might of Liverpool will rise again.
