In that creative central defensive role, there are only a few players in the world that are on the same level/better Xabi - Fabregas and Xavi.

If he goes, it'd better be on our terms not Real's.

I hope he stays but wont be surprised if he goes.

Emp calm down mate! IF xabi leaves, we'll survive! Sometimes these things can work out for the better.

What makes me laugh is how you make out that Torres will go and the world will end, if Xabi goes BUT you'd love it if Rafa was replaced! To me that WOULD be a bl00dy disaster!

Bear in mind that Rafa and his staff will know what needs doing IF certain players leave us - far more than any of us on this forum I can assure you.

Lastly, I ain't losing any sleep over any player that wants to leave our great club for that soulless outfit of money grabbing, fascists!!! To me it's a no brainer! If Xabi leaves when bugga him - if he decides to stay then I'll love him to bits for seeing sense!

very much doubt Rafas philosohpy on football is behind anyone.
The man lives for football and we will soon be seeing the benefits of having him as our manager.

Emperor do you not think, Liveprool have the best chance in winning the league this season? You are the most negative person on this forum. We have the most settled side in the prem now, providing Xabi & Mascherano stay.

Fernando Torres has many times rejected moves to real madrid and barcelona in the past. We have a real gem, who plays with his heart and not his wallet.

I cant believe liverpool fans are worrying. Emperor you need to take a deep breath at times, and realize thecurrent situation we are in and not your own opinion at times.

As far as im concerned Xabi MUST stay. I agree with you, when he doesnt play, we have to work harder.

Torres would only return to Atlético if Spain was his next move. He'd not play for another club in Spain just as he'd not play for anyone but Liverpool in England. He IS a gem you're right Markie!

Emperor. I agree. Need to keep Xabi Alonso. Another attacking minded player would be useful, but you forget about Ryan Babel in that position. This Babel final year to do his business or he will sold.

Alonso does such a good job it allows Stevie G to go all over the pitch terrorising the other side without affecting our performance. If Alonso goes Stevie might start dropping back a lot & would affect his performance. By the way, as Alonso's dad played for Barcelona I'm surprised his family would be happy if he ended up there.
