But surely he knew what he was inheriting?He took it on applied his 35 years magic,produced our worst start in the league since the 1920`s,and then blames Rafa?

irrespective our individual's opinions on players, we still have a better squad than most of the other teams in the league.
bottom line for me is that players look down, we have been playing horrible football and should not be in the position we have been in.
In my opinion, that is down to the manager.
It cannot help the atmosphere in the dressing room when he is openly criticising the quality of the squad and I agree with Rafa, he should focus on the job in hand and get on with the things he can do something about rather than bitching about the things he can't.

I'm no fan of either of them but nobody will convince me that we are better off with Hodgson.He has'nt got a clue and he'll make things a lot worse before its all over.Just look at his record throughout his career.Most of the clubs he had any success at sound like furniture ranges in Ikea.

I don't like Hodgson as our manager but i think we have to be careful here that we don't disect all of his statements.
I don't thing there was anything ment by the Agger statment, the mans under pressure and doing a terrible job without us taking things the wrong way when he doesn't mean it.
You have to atleast give him that, not everything he sais is going to be aimed at someone.

Damn Right. We have a better squad than West Brom, Sunderland, Blackpool, Birmingham, Northampton & Everton BUT every one of them played us of the park football wise and most of them at Anfield. No on in their right mind could be happy with that.

I am getting depressed more each day!i am trying to ignore roys comments but then i think them through and reach for the tablets! does he not think that his comments about raffa for instance wont upset the rafaelites amongst us? so if he had a brain cell he might think, best to shut up cos it will upset a percentage of fans however small, and say i know lets see if i can woo the fans on to my side. even going back to saying we wiil have to deal with the fans protest against hicks and co ,DER!

Roy was the first to have a go in all fairness but it is petty,they should both know better,lets just give Roy a bit more time to see how things go.He is here to steady the ship,that is all,he is not a long term option.
