I don't think Pennant displays enough effort. Sometimes he has put some decent displays but I can only think of a couple of games. He really isn't good enough for a top Prem side.

i will be glad to see the back of peanut - he has shown he has the ability but he doesn't do it often enough (bit like yossi) get rid and save the wages money ready for the summer

I am glad to see that Rafa is giving him time in the squad as that means hhe thinks he is nearly ready to make his move into the first team. I don't think he will be moved until next season but I do think that we will see a lot more of him before then.

Yes he is a bit raw but in a year or two may be very useful. El Zhar really offers us something different at the moment as he takes players on and commits them. A far better player than Pennant, he always seems to want to cause the opposition problems around the goal, has potential.

Glad to see him getting more playing time today, would like to see him get a few starts in some of the smaller games.

Ya and he did well too when coming on against Bolton... Gave us lots of width and his first touch was superb... His work rate in defense was impressive too... (unlike Babbel)

It great to see lad from the reserves getting in the first team. IMO Insua should be our first choice at LB and El Zhar is doing great too...

No doubt Insua and El Zhar will be starting against Preston.

i would like to see darby and pacheco start that match too

Yeh I said that in the other thread it would be good to see mostly the kids playing but I would still like to make sure we win the game.
