Carroll is a good player, and LFC is not the top table side it was, so I can't really see how he's not fit for LFC. He's not half bad defending corners either, and I think he and Greek would be a fantastic pairing both defending and attacking set pieces (when last were we able to say that with confidence?).

But we would need width first to really be able to exploit his strengths, and Torres has much more savvy (not surprising given Carroll's age) so we could do without him, but I wouldn't cry if we signed him. He's about 100 times better than Crouch for starters.

we cant sign him because he HAS to live with kevin nolan for the next 18 months i think it is. part of his court hearing from last week unless we sign them both?? haha

Can't see him leaving newcastle. But he would be just what we need as we don't have anyone to hold up the ball anymore.,..

I think he's gonna grow into a great player and as for someone saying he's "not Liverpool class" get over yourself! Have u been seeing our teamsheets lately? He's better than 80% of our players

I think he will be an excellent player, maybe even in the same league as the likes of Shearer and Rush. I thought he was excellent against Sunderland and he would link up great with Torres.

He likes to drop deeper than Torres and his power and pace would be great for us. That said he would cost around 15-20m but he would be as good for us as Beardsley was and we have an ally over the toon camp in the form of Beardsley so maybe it could happen. I would welcome him for one.

Id take him for Liverpool tomora, did you see him against sunderland?? brilliant from start to finish, Nolan played really well too.

There are tons of good ball players out there. If we have a 15 million choice between Caroll and Adam Johnson, i know who i would choose.
