Um, most of our away games in the first half of the calendar year were drawn. For example, we drew 0-0 at Eastlands under Rafa, but got a 3 goal manhandling in the same fixture with Roy. With the exception of losses to Reading and Chelsea, and a draw with Fulham, we won every other game at home in all competitions prior to the start of this season during this calendar year, so I fail to see your logic.

Hamman was a brilliant servant to our club. But masch style of play doesn't suit barca, never understood them wanting him tbh

I agree that Hamman was a brilliant player. Changed the game in 05 when he came on. He was much better than Masch.

I also can't see why Barca wanted Masch. They are a team that want to play good attacking football and that certainly isn't Masch's strength. Maybe they thought it would be good to have someone like him on the bench for if they were getting beaten up on the pitch? Who knows.

might be for the european matches against premiership team or scandinavian teams? bit expensive all that , hes already 'complaining' that the game is more technical in spain and he has to get used to it, well he s not hte most gifted technical player so i think liverpool did not so bad in the end of getting rid, too many sulkers and a55holes in the squad one less now

The error you've made there thundyr is thinking there was any sort of logic in reclaim's post. Made that mistake myself once. Ended badly.

I agree, but he posts such rubbish he needs to get put down by someone each time until he gets the point that Rafa was actually good for LFC. He makes as much sense as Dalglish and Rafa not getting along. Who said that? Oh, right, must have been Rafa.
