andy carroll was brilliant today, would he be a punt in jan prob between 12-15mill and think a big striker beside torres is needed, i know hes not world class but very young with a lot of potential

No, he's not Liverpool class. Plus, why get him when we lack quality getting balls into the box. We need to wingers who are going to push them back, and a better striker. Torres and suarez upfront would make me jizz

I think the Barcodes would want a fortune for him. And would he want to leave? If its a choice between him and Carlton Cole then Carrol it is. Only worry for me would be his temprament.

carroll would be a good signing. we need a big target man and he would be able to play alongside torres and as a lone striker.

Why do we need a target man. We play enough long balls into torres chest than on the deck. Torres is better in the air than carroll aswell.

Fck Roy off and get someone who wants to play football on the deck

i would also prefer someone like suarez but we're not gonna spend £30m on a striker in january.

people often mention bent and he's a good player but i can't see how he would be able to play alongside torres but someone like carroll would be able to do so.

dzeko is a player i would love to have in our squad but i can't see him joining us.

Carroll isn't that good tho. He's just presence in the box for me. Don't get me wrong I can see why you say we need one, but he's not proven in the prem. He's come into the prem off after a good season in the championship. An I can't understand the ranting an raving over him, he's te same quality as kevin Davies. He'd suit roys style yes, but I'd rather see 2wingers in before we get a striker

I think he's a bit raw but the right age and would be perfect along side nando, but Roy prefer's players with a zimmer frame such as Crouch or Forlan he might even go in for Heskey !.

yea we do need wingers for sure. we haven't had a quality winger in ages.

i agree carroll has a lot to prove at the highest level but lets not forget he's only 21. 5 goals and 4 assist so far is a good record.

I reckon he would be a great foil for Torres. It would free Nando up to make some runs and feed off what Carrol delivers. His presence would take some attention away from Nando.
