"In January we should be really looking to solve one or two situations. We are desperately short of players. Front players.

"Having three front players at the club, and that's if you include Ryan Babel, is nowhere near good enough.

Wow. Take the time to read. What he means that having only 3 strikers at the club is not good enough. He is including Ryan Babel because he is normally played on the wings.

Damn. Making a big story for nothing.

What worries me that he's not considering Jovanovic, the guy was a top scorer at Standard Liege
Also he don't seem to have any big plans for Pacheco
At least Roy should've learnt today that he better puts a front man in formation instead of Joe Cole

Yeah! But he came for free! eek

By the way: That also goes for Mr Cole, and see where that has put us!

Out of bounds! Not even close to acceptable!

On the other hand: Bringing in Poulsen and Konchesky forced Roy to plough up a lot of hidden dough from the Melwood turf, and are these geezers any better? TSSS - tourists! mad

Cole is a really good player, but I think he would be better suited as an impact player. Coming off the bench with 20-30 minutes left to give a bit of trouble to tiring defenders.

Cole is p1ss poor and the manager is no better. If Cole had not been injured he would never have made the change.I never thought i'd see the day when we were depending on Ngog making a big difference but fair play to him.I think that shows how far we have fallen and it will get worse with this man at the helm.

Cole came here to play behind the striker and has looked pretty good there in Europe. Cole has no where near enough pace to be a winger in this league, same with maxi. Managers fault for playing them wrong and setting the team up wrong.

I would all day every day prefer to see Jova or even babel on one of the wings at least, than what we do now, cause we have 0 pace bar Torres and Gerrard. When we counter there is no winger that can run beyond. Don't think Jova (who had a good world cup) has been given anywhere near a fair crack of the whip.

Fully agree Roy would never have made those changes soon enough if Cole didn't get injured. He is a joke of a manager. When we scored I cheered my ass off but then was left with the sinking feeling that this means Roy is gonna keep his job a little longer.

A huge thing for me was, when we scored, we literally had no idea how to play whilst being ahead. No one could believe it so we just kicked the ball away whenever we got it in our half it was ridiculous. Not a single soul connected with Liverpool understood how we won a second game on the bounce, least of all Roy Hodgson.

Many people have used the phrase 1 step forward 2 steps back with Liverpool recently. Well new forward thinking owners=one step forward, one out of his depth manager=2 steps back.
