Maxi had a good game but is it just me or did he constantly cut into the middle and hardly played down the wing? Thinking back he rarely whips in a cross from the wing and I often saw him playing almost dead centre. If so, is his preferred position the J.Cole role?

He's not a winger. More of an inside forward or attacking central midfield player. Like Cole, he can "do a job" out wide but that's not what we need. We need proper, recognised, natural wingers.

We need natural wingers with Pace I really cant see what's wrong with givin youg Amoo a chance to impress, he might get it wrong a few times but thats what young players are all about they learn and he's only goin to learn so much in the reserves.

And even he was frustrating, beating 3 men and then offering a poor pass or cross. His final ball stunk to high heaven. But yes he was about the best we've had for quite some time.

nooo macca was defo an out an out winger.. His final ball was bad 99% of the time but it was exciting when he got hold of that ball at the back and just surged down the wing with his big wig bouncing around.

I really liked steve Mac, just had a few things absent fro his game that let him down.

Have to agree with Growls on this one.

Digger was our last out and out winger. Shaggy did like to cut in far to often for my liking. Still loved watching him play though.
