Like most others I have been anti-Maxi all season but he did play well today although think he should have scored. But to the point of Pacheco I absolutely agree that he should be invloved with the first team on match day - can't see how we will ever use Babel again and Pacheco should be on the bench.

in one of the previous matches i noticed maxi comin on for the last couple of minutes and trying to chop a few people up and thought "yea, he wants it".

Pacheco should at least be on the bench for ALL games ahead of Babel and Maxi.

My point about Cole was not a dig at Cole, btw. Just realized I should have elaborated. My point was simply that Cole should be in the hole behind Torres, with Pacheco wide on the left. Gerrard and Meireles as CM partnership. No dedicated DM (we regularly play one but concede goals like they're not there, so I'm pretty sure Meireles will not be strictly worse as MCd).

Agree. Dani needs to get some games under his belt and fast. Good to see Shelvey coming on just to give him a run out.

I would like to see more of the youngsters on the bench and given more game time i.e. Shelvey, Kelly, Pacheco and Spearing. In the past we had players who were given a chance, but since Rafa, that has sort of dried up. Get rid of the dead wood (Lucas and Babel)

He should be atleast starting for the Europa league, but somehow he isn't. I do worry because come January, this kid may be fed up and leaves for his homeland spain to play there and quite frankly I wont blame him for that decision. He must play more games otherwise we may lose him soon. He MUST start against Napoli.

I wouldn't blame him if he went elsewhere either. He has to given more game time in all comps I suggest as he would be far better than Babel!

Totally agree with Rafarendum (that`s twice today.!) what has he done when given the chance?
