The fluidity, the movement, the support from each other and the defending from the top all came back in yesterday's game. We actually have good players and when we do start to play we're quite a team to be reckoned with. I can honestly say that we started to play because Poulsen wasn't in the team. If he had played, the whole team would have stagnated as he LOVES to hide behind the centerbacks when we attack. We need the whole team to move forward when we attack, not retreat and that's what he does all the time. It's no wonder our entire play becomes disjointed when he's around. If Roy goes before christmas, Poulsen would have been his greatest downfall.

Took Roy far too many games to realize that this is not a squad that should be sitting on its heels defending. Time to say goodbye to those 35 years of experience if you're serious about remaining Liverpool's manager, Roy; it is a different ballgame here. Lot of other baggage needs fixing (most of which Roy has brought with him), so let's not get all besides ourselves just because we beat one of the worst sides in the league at home. And, no, this was not "Roy finally getting through to the players". This was at best a realization that he needed to change his plan A because it simply wasn't working. But at least we played some football for once.

I must say the first half was splendid. The way Lucas-Meireles controlled the midfield, it was great to see for a change. Maxi was also great running down the wing for a change which was good to see. Few goal oportunities and should of been up by atleast a goal in the first half, but overall a good all round performance, please more of this next week and the weeks that follow! MOTM for me is Sotirios, what a great lad, power and aieral presence he had. Good goals too. Back to Back World Champions baby!

As much as it seemed a very different style of play, maybe Roy just thought what im doing isn't working here, lets switch it round abit, and it worked? mazz Trialist M Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 22 pinxton nottz	I wathced match of the day last nite and wat i was expecting was too watch us play ultra defensive n probably draw the game but wat i actually saw really was pleasing too see we were attacking constantly and apart from a defensive mix up we looked very good...the way i look at it is this we are all getting on torres back for not scoring n not lookin himself but think about it the past 3 weeks theres bin no one bustin a gut to support him so he has too feed of scraps and i dnt think thts how u play torres...check out his goal there were 4 liverpool players in box which free up torres and he did wat he does best normally we wud just have torres in the box with 2-3 defenders near him and he wudnt get a sniff of a chance ...u have gt to get players forward coz remember if u dnt shoot u dnt score
